A Little About Me

Hi there! I’m Giselle, the creator behind Giselle and The City.

My love for travel began in 2015 when I became a flight attendant and I’ve been hooked ever since! Traveling has taken me all around the world, except Asia (for now!), and it’s something I’m truly passionate about. With a background in journalism and marketing; pairing my love for travel with my love for storytelling and photography, documenting my experiences and creating a unique story for viewers to read comes naturally to me. From exploring local cultures to indulging in unique cuisines and discovering fashion trends, every experience deserves its own special story to tell.

I created GATC, to document my travels and experiences honestly. During my travels I noticed so many review sites deleting honest reviews in favor of the paying corporations. I knew it was time to start my own blog to honestly show people what to expect when you stay at a certain hotels, dine at certain restaurants or partake in certain experiences promoted on social media by influencers who are getting paid to say positive things.
